Questions people ask before they deposit

Grouped by what you are probably trying to work out — getting started, how the account is managed, what it costs, and how to get your money back out.

Getting started

What do I need to open an account?

Your name, email and phone number to register, then an ID document and a proof of address to verify. Verification is usually completed the same day.

What is the smallest amount I can start with?

$50. The terms are identical whether you deposit the minimum or the maximum, so there is no advantage to starting larger than you are comfortable with.

How do I deposit?

In USDT or by bank transfer. Both are credited instantly to your trading account, and StarFX charges no deposit fee — though your own bank or the USDT network may.

Can I add more money later?

Yes, any time and in any amount within the deposit range. The desk simply trades the larger balance from that point on.

How the account is managed

Who actually trades my account?

An experienced trader from the StarFX managed desk, using a strategy you select when you sign up. You grant a trading-only password that lets them open and close positions, and nothing else.

Can the trader take my money out?

No. Trading access and withdrawal rights are separate. Withdrawal rights stay only with your own login, and the trading password cannot be used to move funds, change your bank details or alter your password.

Can I see what is happening?

Yes, live. Every entry, exit, lot size and open position appears in your own terminal as it happens. You do not have to wait for a statement.

Can I close a trade myself?

You can. It is your account. If you do, tell the desk so the rest of the positions can be managed around the change.

Can I stop the desk trading?

At any time. Change the trading password in your client portal and access ends immediately. There is no notice period and no exit fee.

Profit, fees and results

When is the profit share calculated?

At the end of every month, on the net profit made that month. Losses are carried forward, so the share is paid only after previous losses are recovered.

What if the account loses money?

You pay no share in a losing month. Each strategy also has a maximum drawdown limit; if it is hit, trading pauses and we review with you.

Are there any other fees?

No management fee, no joining fee and no subscription. The profit share is the only cost, and it is taken from profit rather than from your deposit.

Is 0.5% a day guaranteed?

No. It is the target the desk trades towards on an average day, not a promise. Some days make more, some make less, and some close in loss. No one can guarantee a return in the market.

What is a high-water mark?

The account's previous peak value. If the balance falls below it, profit goes to recovering that first and no share is taken until the account is back above it — so you are never charged twice on the same money.

Withdrawals

How quickly can I withdraw?

Requests can be made any day and are processed within 24 hours, back to the method you deposited with.

Is there a lock-in period?

No. There is no minimum term and no penalty for withdrawing early.

Can I withdraw part of the balance?

Yes. Partial withdrawals are allowed. If trades are open, tell the desk first — taking out a large amount changes the margin available to those positions.

Does StarFX charge to withdraw?

No. Fees charged by your own bank or by the USDT network are outside our control and may still apply.

No question matches that. Try another word, or write to support@starfxtrading.com.

Still have a question?

Write to support@starfxtrading.com and a person will answer — before you deposit, not only after.
